Following the boom of cryptocurrencies in late 2017, multiple crypto exchanges entered the industry in a bid to offer improved security, usability, and liquidity to customers. Data from CoinMarketCap reveals that there are currently over 250 crypto exchanges in the world. This is a pointer to the level of competition within the crypto exchange space. Customers are typically on the lookout for exchanges with a plethora of trading pairs, fast deposit/withdrawal options, high liquidity, security, and an overall easy-to-use interface.

Although several top exchanges are doing a great job in providing customers with the needed services and customer support, there is still room for improvement. Ozinex, was launched with this in view. According to the project’s whitepaper:

Ozinex.com is a global cryptocurrency exchange platform. It will form a new innovative platform to trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, EOS and other popular cryptocurrencies and tokens. Users will receive expert analysis of the current state of coin and token pairs, and they’ll be able to withdraw their money easily and receive alerts for scam cryptocurrencies. OZINEX will also have an awesome forum for users to exchange ideas and share experience with likeminded individuals. All of this in one simple yet powerful exchange platform.

The most important aspect of the Ozinex exchange, in my opinion, is the fact that users will be receiving expert analysis of the crypto market. One of the entry barriers to the rather nascent crypto market is the fact that learning how to read chart and perform technical analysis can become a herculean task, especially for beginners. A large percentage of small investors will prefer to deposit their digital assets without having to go through the rigors of doing in-depth investment research. Having a team of experts providing real-time analysis of the crypto market will definitely be a deal breaker for Ozinex.

The second exciting feature from their whitepaper is the “scam alert” option. A 2018 report on Cointelegraph, affirms that 80% of ICOs in 2017 were scams. While the number of scam projects may have reduced because of the prolonged bearish market, more scam projects are already in and will still join the market. Users will be receiving alerts on the authenticity of cryptocurrency projects listed on the exchange.

Ozinex will feature a trading platform, an IEO platform, and Gambling and Voting platforms. This sets it as an all-round crypto exchange service.

Ozinex has been in development since October 2018, going through an open private sale and the launch of the OZI token to mainnet. Upcoming milestones include the launch of the Ozinex Exchange, IEO sale, public listings of OZI token, the launch of its Casino platform and its credit card project.

Ozinex has only three core members in its development team. Although I feel this is a really small number considering what they are trying to do, I believe they will expand in the coming months. The current team has both business and cryptocurrency experience.

While Ozinex passes for a regular exchange, extra features such as expert analysis and scam crypto alerts could be a deal breaker.
